Muscadine Bloodline plays Jackson County Fair this summer
Country music fans will find it worth the drive to the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Maquoketa this summer, as two acts have been added to this summer’s fair schedule. The fair runs from Sunday, July 21 to Monday, July 29.
Muscadine Bloodline will play the fair on Friday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale February 2 at 9 a.m. Buy them online here or visit the fairgrounds box office, 1212 E. Quarry Street in Maquoketa.
Muscadine Bloodline has charted three albums, sold-out shows across the country and played the Grand Ole Opry multiple times, hailed often as the most successful independent duo in Country music.
Muscadine Bloodline hit their stride with their latest album, “Dispatch to 16th Ave.” “Dispatch”, their second album, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Country Chart, hit No. 4 on the iTunes All Genre Chart and peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Chart.
Opening act Jason Boland & the Stragglers have thrilled fans of the Oklahoma and Texas music movement for years. With over 500,000 records sold independently and 10 albums, Boland has grown his profile dramatically, especially in the past few years.
