Neymar's girlfriend Bruna Marquezine blasts online body shaming trolls for calling her 'too skinny'
NEYMAR'S girlfriend has opened up on her emotional battle with weight obsession after being branded "too skinny".
Model and actress Bruna Marquezine, 23, insists she is "very healthy" after Instagram users urged her to put on weight following recent social media posts.
Posting a series of clips onto her Instagram story, Bruna said: "I started to hate my body.
"I thought I had to lose weight any way I could.
"I took laxatives every day for more than three months."
Trolls told Bruna - who was filmed half-naked for a steamy advert alongside Neymar for fashion chain C&A in May - that her legs looked like "spaghetti" and criticised her image in several pictures uploaded online.
She hit back: "Being sincere is different to being rude. If someone asks your opinion, then tell them the truth. If a person does not ask, keep quiet.
"In none of my photos did I ask you if I am pretty or not."
Bruna added: "Women's bodies are not only there to please men, or please anyone for that matter, we just want to be healthy and happy."
"If you have opinions that are likely to offend of make someone feel bad about their body, no matter your intention, just stay quiet and do not comment."
