Scots pervert spied on stepdaughter when she was just 13 using mobile phone he hid in her bedroom
A TEENAGER has told how her paedophile stepdad began filming her when she was just 13 - on a phone he’d hidden in her bedroom.
Zara Montgomery, 19, revealed vile creep David Brown, 57, would use his mobile’s camera to spy on her through a gap drilled in her wardrobe and the keyhole of a chest.
He even videoed her on holiday with a tiny device stashed in her bedside clock.
Terrified Zara rumbled his sick plot when she was 15 - but hid it for years amid fears he would attack her.
She recalled: “Every day I would come home from school and he would order me upstairs to change.
“He would flip out if I told him I didn’t want to.
“I was too scared of him to say anything and I didn’t want to break up my family. He did what a dad never should.”
Zara, who’s waived her right to anonymity, was eight when Brown met her lawyer mum Nadine Allam, 47, in 2010.

She was later alerted to his vile actions by a reflection from a blanket box.
She admitted she was “confused” when she played back footage on a Samsung phone which showed Brown switching on the camera before hiding it.
Zara revealed she then found the handset “every day” in her room, adding: “One time I noticed there was a hole in my wardrobe.
“I opened it and taped to the door was his phone.”

Psychology student Zara said she’d move the chest in a bid to block the camera at home in Pollokshields, Glasgow.
But when the family went on holiday to their villa in Florida, USA, he filmed her on a gizmo inside her clock.
Brown was finally nailed after brave Zara confided in her mum in January last year - after their 2019 break-up.

Cops found pictures of the teen in a raid on his home.
But courageous Zara vowed: “I am not going to let this beat me.
“People need to know who he is. I’m not afraid to speak out.”
At Glasgow Sheriff Court last week, Brown admitted tampering with furniture and hiding his phone to take videos between August 2015 and April 2017.
He also pled guilty to filming Zara in Florida from August to December 2018.

Brown was placed on the sex offenders register and will be sentenced next month.
